Public Buses: Experience Nassau like a local by hopping on one of the island’s public buses, also called “jitneys.” The budget-friendly bus network can transport you to major attractions and connects the city to Nassau Cruise Port, allowing you to explore Nassau at your own pace. Sit back and take in the sights and sounds of Nassau while en route to your next adventure.

Rental Cars: For you crave independence and flexibility, renting a car is an excellent way to explore Nassau at your leisure. Severa car rental agencies have offices in the downtown area and offer a range of vehicles to suit your preferences and budget. Visit the Scooter and ATV Rental centre within the Ground Transportation Area at Nassau Cruise Port, and embark on a memorable journey filled with exploration and discovery.

Ferries: Island hop from Nassau to Paradise Island aboard a ferry! Sail across the harbour and enjoy our crystal-clear waters and admire panoramic views of the city from a different point of view. On Paradise Island, you’ll find powder-white beaches, the Atlantis Bahamas resort, an outpost of the World Famous Straw Market, and charming restaurants. Cruise passengers can board the ferry at the Ferry Terminal at Nassau Cruise Port. The ferry leaves the port every 30 minutes from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
