Nassau Cruise Port is excited to share a moment that reflects the heart of our More Than a Welcome campaign — an initiative focused on celebrating culture, strengthening community partnerships, and creating meaningful connections beyond the port experience.
Nassau Cruise Port donated $2,000 to CH Reeves Junior High School to support the school’s participation in the 2026 Junior Junkanoo Parade — investing in youth, creativity, and the preservation of one of The Bahamas’ most cherished cultural traditions. Supporting students as they prepare to take part in this national celebration is one small but meaningful way we can help ensure that the tradition continues to thrive.
Nassau Cruise Port is proud to support the fight against cancer as a Silver Sponsor of the 2025 CIBC Walk for the Cure!
This annual initiative not only raises awareness but also provides essential resources to individuals battling cancer. Proceeds from the event are distributed among eight local cancer support and awareness organizations across The Bahamas, ensuring that individuals, families, and communities receive the care and support they need most.
Our partnership reflects a commitment to stand alongside those affected by cancer. Survivors are honored, loved ones are remembered, and solidarity is shown towards Bahamians impacted by cancer. Every step taken and every donation given brings us closer to hope, healing, and a brighter future.

Nassau Cruise Port (NCP) is proud to announce its participation in the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program, a global initiative designed to support individuals with non-visible disabilities. This significant step underscores NCP’s deep commitment to inclusiveness and exceptional customer service.
The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program provides a simple yet effective way for individuals with non-visible disabilities to discreetly indicate their need for additional support or understanding. Participants wear a green lanyard, badge, or wristband with a yellow Sunflower, signaling to staff and the public that they may require extra assistance, patience, or time. This initiative helps raise awareness and fosters a more inclusive environment for those with conditions that are not immediately apparent such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, epilepsy, chronic pain conditions, mental health conditions, hearing impairments, and more.
