Position Title: Events Associate

Location: Nassau, The Bahamas

As an Events Associate, you will be at the center of the action, helping to plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events from corporate functions to concerts, charter cruise events, community events, weddings, and large-scale public and/or private experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of events, including timelines, logistics, and on-site coordination
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery
- Assist with port tours, scheduling, and guest experiences
- Oversee event setup, breakdown, and live execution, ensuring quality and efficiency
- Manage event logistics including catering, décor, audio-visuals, and site plans
- Serve as an on-site point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Support ticketing, check-in, and cash management processes where required
- Monitor event performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a high standard of delivery
- Maintain event documentation, budgets, reports, and post-event evaluations
- Support tenant matters relative to Commercial Management and Events interface
- Collaborate cross functionally to ensure seamless execution of events
- Interface with and liaise with tenants and vendors in the port community
What We’re Looking For
- Associate degree or relevant experience in events, hospitality, or a related field
- Proven experience in event planning, coordination, or hospitality environments
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail with a creative eye for execution
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have the legal right to live and work in The Bahamas

Accounting Manager
Position Title: Accounting Manager
Department: Finance
Reports to: Regional Director of Accounting & Finance
Location: Nassau, The Bahamas
Are you detail-oriented with a strong passion for accuracy, processes and controls? As Accounting Manager, you will support the daily operations of the Finance Department and safeguard the integrity of financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee treasury and financial reporting, including review of management accounts and draft financial statements
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, trial balance, and monthly reconciliations
- Ensure completion and sign-off of monthly departmental tasks
- Manage fixed assets, including register maintenance, inspections, and tracking of additions and disposals
- Review supplier payments and coordinate new supplier approvals
- Support year-end audits and quarterly reviews
- Assist with strategic initiatives, ad hoc reporting, and administrative finance functions
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA is an asset)
- Knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting frameworks
- A minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience at a supervisory level
- Strong technical skills including working knowledge of various accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid understanding of auditing and internal controls
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Effective leadership, communication, and time management abilities
- Must have the legal right to live and work in The Bahamas
